I

Director and Principal Consultant for Spa
Innovations. Dianna helped us at Nirwana Bali
Resort to rejuvenate our Spa in conjunction
with our rebranding, refurbishment program
in 2010-2011. The 15-year-old award winning
resort has become dated and needed improvements
to preserve long-term asset value and produce
immediate cash flow. The goal was to reposition
as a premium destination resort to capture
additional market share, enriching guest experience
through physical refurbishment offering relevant
products and service operational enhancement.
Dianna and Spa Innovations won a competitive
bid and proved to be a successful partner
supplier in fulfilling the goals of our aggressive
and comprehensive spa improvement program.
We charged Spa Innovations with task to increase
guest appeal through physical renovations,
complementing the resort refurbishment plan
and reorganize operations to produce immediate
cash flow and long term return on investment.
We were pleased with the way Dianna worked
with us on every aspect of the project and
enjoyed results, which exceeded our targets.
We increased spa treatments three fold and
improved guest satisfaction scores almost
+30% and employee engagement +20%.
Dianna conducted an initial feasibility study,
product and services operational audit, to
develop an attractive physical plan for refurbishment
of the spa with a detailed budget and timeline.
She sold the plan to ownership with a compelling
revitalization of all the services, amenities
and accessories while we were completing the
physical renovations. The comprehensive business
plan included capital investment planning,
pricing and margins and financial budget projections.
The project included space planning, interior
design briefs, furniture fixtures and equipment
specifications to consultants and contracts.
She conducted a competition survey and worked
with our marketing team in rebranding and
developing an effective strategic marketing
plan including advertising, promotions, special
events, public relations and website enhancements.
Operationally she rewrote all the standard
operational procedures, job descriptions,
organizational structure; recruited new management,
welcomed and oriented them and trained trainers.
She arranged for 9 months of comprehensive
staff treatment skills programs. Effectively
we upgraded the entire product and service
delivery team without disrupting or replacing
the majority of our long term valued employee
associates.
